Minneapolis (June 23, 2025) – Founders Properties, a privately held real estate investment management firm, has decided to move out of its long-time Minnetonka home to 6,500 sq. ft. at 7500 Flying Cloud Dr., Eden Prairie.

Established in 1998, Founders specializes in acquiring, managing, and developing industrial real estate assets across the United States. Over the past 25 years, the company has built a diversified portfolio, owning approximately $1 billion in real estate assets, encompassing properties in 30 states and 41 markets.

“As we continue to diversify our portfolio, it is important to diversify our investment pools to attract new investments. By moving to a new space, we will continue to build our team, brand, and platform,” said Wade Lau, chief executive officer and president, Founders Properties.

Katie Trevena, senior vice president – advisory, Forte, advised Founders in their search, which focused on the Southwest suburbs of the Twin Cities. “Among several strong contenders, 7500 Flying Cloud Drive rose to the top because of its recent multimillion-dollar upgrades, technology-forward collaboration spaces, and comprehensive wellness amenities.”

7500 Flying Cloud Drive is a nine-story, 202,000 sq. ft. Class A office building in the well-located Golden Triangle area, which borders Highways 212 and 169, and Interstate 494. The building is owned by Bailard/The Excelsior Group, managed by Ryan Companies, and leased by Brent Karkula and Laura Farrell of JLL

Founders Properties plans to move into its new space in September. Wally Tufvander, vice president – project management, Forte, is managing the renovation and relocation to the new space. Other project partners include architect BDH and Westin Construction.
