Senior Associate Kate Damato joins Forte Real Estate Partners

Kate Damato joins Forte Real Estate Partners to continue to build out the firm’s full-service commercial real estate platform. Damato has been in the real estate industry since 2013 working most recently as Managing Broker for Edina Realty, and with KimbleCo as a commercial real estate advisor. She brings a broad base of knowledge to the Forte team from her experience in tenant advisory, sales, and acquisitions. She believes the best way to build a fulfilling business is by maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and referral partners.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Kate’s business development and leadership experience, high energy, and professionalism join our team”, said Jim Jetland, Principal-Forte Real Estate Partners.
As a Senior Associate, Damato will be working closely with the healthcare and office team at Forte. The team members include Steve Brown-Principal, Jim Jetland-Principal, Katie Trevena-Vice President, Ericka Miller-Vice President, Jaime Dritz-Client Coordinator, and Maddie Carroll-Client Coordinator.
Damato’s strengths lie in understanding her clients’ business goals and strategies, with a proven track record of developing and managing solid partnerships with local, regional, and national business leaders. Her role at Forte will be to serve and support professional services, healthcare, non-profit, and private equity firms with in-depth market research, site selection, and risk management through lease negotiations.
“I believe real estate is not a one-size-fits-all approach,” said Damato. “In working with Forte Real Estate Partners, I am surrounded by experienced, passionate, and creative commercial real estate professionals, which allows for individualized solutions to fit our client’s goals.”
Damato attended Metro State University with a focus on Business Administration and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Minnesota. She is a member of Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women (MNCREW), Coalition 9, and a member of Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.
