EXPERIENCE

Jim Jetland has been involved in commercial real estate since 1985. His career focus has been on office and industrial sales and leasing where he has represented a variety of tenants, including General Mills, Inc., Coldwell Banker, United Bankers’ Bank and Pella Windows. Jim’s experience and creativity has benefitted many local, regional, and national clients through his representation. During his career, Jim has been involved in more than 1,000 leases totaling over eight million square feet.

In August of 2021 Jim started Forte Real Estate Partners, LLC where he serves as Principal and leads the Office Advisory Division. Prior to that he was a partner at Excelsior Advisory for 7 years. Jim has also worked for Cushman & Wakefield as Executive Director of Office Brokerage and was an Executive Vice President with Koll Real Estate, formerly The Shelard Group.

Jim has been named the Twin Cities “Broker of the Year” by the Minnesota Commercial Association of Real Estate (MNCAR) and continues to be an active member of the association. He is also an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Jim served as the chair on the Basilica Landmark Board. He is a past Board Member of Benilde-St. Margaret’s and MNCAR. Jim is a 1982 graduate of the University of Minnesota where he was a goalie on the men’s hockey team, and a member of the national championship team in 1979.

EDUCATION

Jim is a licensed real estate professional and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1982.
