
Steve Brown, CCIM
EXPERIENCE
Steve began his career in 1985 working for a boutique real estate company called American Commercial Properties where he was active in office, industrial, and retail real estate brokerage. While there, he began representing medical practices which continued to grow and expand over the next 15 years. In 2000 he joined United Properties in their Corporate Services Division where he established a Healthcare Real Estate Advisory practice focusing exclusively on the medical and healthcare sector.
During the past 21 years, he has become recognized as the leading healthcare real estate advisor in the Twin Cities market. His work includes projects with major hospital systems as well as private practices navigating the extraordinary changes in healthcare. He provides strategic facility planning, site selection, portfolio and transaction management, and patient demography. He is known for his commitment to client advocacy producing exceptional results for his clients that are based on their unique interests and needs.
Steve formed Forte Real Estate Partners in 2021 where he continues his client-centric approach in the Healthcare Advisory area, offering creative solutions to an industry that has unique and specialized needs.
EDUCATION
Steve is a licensed real estate professional and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Colorado College.
