Meet the people behind Forte! We asked Jaime Dritz, client coordinator at Forte Real Estate Partners, a few fun questions. It’s a quick way to get to know Jaime and the Forte team—passionate, experienced professionals advocating for clients across the Twin Cities and beyond.

1. What’s your favorite place to hang out in the Twin Cities?

One of my favorite places in the Twin Cities is Excelsior, Minnesota. Growing up on the west side, it’s always felt familiar and easy to come back to. I enjoy walking around downtown, stopping into a few shops, and spending time by the lake. Being near the water is relaxing, whether I’m taking a walk along the shore or just sitting and taking in the view. With some great local restaurants nearby, it’s an easy place to spend an afternoon or evening.

2. What activities do you enjoy most during weekends?

On weekends, I really enjoy getting outdoors and exploring different parts of the Twin Cities, especially around the lakes. Spending time at the cabin is one of my favorite ways to unwind — it’s a great place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy being outside. I like staying active, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends, family, and my dogs.

3. If you weren’t in commercial real estate, what would you be doing?

When I was in high school, I wanted to be a farmer. I’ve always been drawn to working outdoors and doing hands-on, meaningful work. If I weren’t in commercial real estate today, I would likely be a teacher. Before transitioning into this industry, I was a kindergarten teacher, and I really enjoyed working with kids and having the opportunity to make a positive impact. Teaching has always been important to me, and the skills I gained — like communication, patience, and adaptability — still shape how I work today.

4. What hobbies or interests do you pursue outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Skiing is one of my favorite winter activities, and I also like taking walks around the lakes during that time of year. I appreciate being outside in every season — whether that’s skiing in the winter, taking cold-weather lake walks, or spending time at the cabin during warmer months. I also enjoy checking out local breweries with friends as a fun way to connect and explore the area.

5. What first got you interested in real estate?

My interest in real estate started early through my dad, who handled commercial real estate for his company, which is a client of Forte. I would often help him with office moves and relocations — usually as the designated box packer for his filing cabinets. Seeing firsthand how dynamic the work was and how no two days were the same really sparked my interest.

“Working at Forte means building meaningful relationships, staying adaptable, and helping clients navigate change to create space that truly work for them.”
