Fred Hedberg, SIOR
EXPERIENCE
Fred Hedberg has been involved in commercial real estate since 1983. His career focus has been on industrial and office sales and leasing as well as land sales. Fred has represented both building owners and tenants and has completed over 1,000 transactions with local, regional, and national companies including Emerson Electric, Dow Chemical, Prudential Insurance Company, Allianz, JM Smucker Company, Liberty Diversified International, Opus Corporation, First Industrial Realty Trust, CSM and Wagner Spray Tech Corporation. Fred’s clients have depended on and benefited from his experience, foresight and market knowledge.
Fred started his commercial real estate career in 1983 with Welsh Companies and in 1996 joined Philip Simonet to form Paramount Real Estate Corporation. Their common philosophy of conducting business with every client with the highest level of honesty and integrity resulted in Paramount being recognized as one of the most highly respected commercial real estate companies in the Twin Cities. In 2021, Paramount merged with Excelsior Advisory to form Forte Real Estate Partners, LLC where Fred continues to serve his office and industrial clients sharing his exceptional market knowledge and experience in Forte’s Advisory division.
Fred was named Minnesota Commercial Realtor in 2002 in recognition of his dedication, service, and distinguished professionalism and outstanding contribution to the industry. He received the Five Star-Best in Client Satisfaction designation in 2009 and 2010 from an independent survey of business people and in 2018 and 2019. Fred was recognized as one of Minnesota’s most powerful business executives in Minnesota 500. Fred has served on non-profit as well as business boards during his career.
EDUCATION
Fred is a licensed real estate professional and has a Bachelor of Arts degree and majors in Accounting, Business Administration, and Economics from Luther College.
