Forte represents Hohenstein’s in disposition and acquisition of HQ properties

Phil Simonet, Principal, and John Young, CCIM, Vice President at Forte, advised Hohenstein’s Inc. on the sale of its headquarters, an 86,492 sq. ft. industrial building on 7.5 acres of land in Woodbury, to Ventura Holdings, LLC. The property, located at 2330 Ventura Drive, Woodbury, MN, will be leased to Kraft Mechanical. The $10,750,000 sale closed February 29, 2024.
The Buyer, Ventura Holdings LLC was represented by Jordan Dick, Cushman & Wakefield. Hohenstein’s built the building in 1994 and expanded in 2004 and 2013.
Hohenstein’s Inc. is moving their distribution business to the Cottage Grove Industrial Park and building a new 145,000 SF office-warehouse, distribution building with expansion capabilities. A distributor of craft, import, and domestic beer, along with wellness, THC + CBD and non-alcoholic drinks, Hohenstein’s move to Cottage Grove helps meet the demand for more warehouse space for its distribution business and office space to support its growth. The general contractor for the new built-to-suit building is Gardner Construction, Inc.
