Amy is a veteran of the commercial real estate industry and has multi-disciplined experience in commercial property asset management, property management, leasing coordination, acquisition/disposition collaboration and construction management services. Given her breadth of experience in the industry, new business development expertise, and ability to provide grade A customer service to property owners and tenants, Amy enhances our professional expertise and ultimately improves our property management clients’ real estate outcomes. Her strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and financial background make her a solid part of the Forte team.

Amy was most recently with Artis REIT as a US Regional Senior Vice President-Asset Management. Melchior managed a portfolio of more than 40 office, industrial and retail properties while at Artis REIT. Most recently her focus was on leasing and asset management of industrial properties and new development in Minneapolis, MN and Houston, TX. Prior to Artis, Melchior spent much of her career with CBRE, most recently as an Associate Director-Property Management. While at CBRE, Melchior managed a staff of property managers, engineers and admin personnel working on eight million square feet of industrial space.

Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and holds her broker’s license in Minnesota.
