Long-standing partnership with Feed My Starving Children results in 28,296 meals and strategic real estate advice
Overview
Forte Real Estate Partners has developed a long-standing relationship with Feed My Starving Children, a Minneapolis-based Christian non-profit that works with food distribution partners to bring healthy nutrition that allows children to grow, thrive and develop to their full potential.
That partnership extends to volunteer work as well. The team had a volunteering event at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan, packing 131 boxes of food, equivalent to 28,296 meals, which means 78 children will have hot meals for a whole year. The team volunteers a few times a year, using the opportunity to build their camaraderie and give back to the community at the same time.

Forte’s real estate relationship with FMSC goes back to 2004, when Phil Simonet started working with them to secure space that would facilitate large group volunteering along with storage for the food, truck access for loading and distribution, and office space for the growing number of employees the growing non-profit needed to facilitate the food distribution and volunteering activities.
